I doubt that we would end up with a President lording it over England’s increasing brown land. I think we’d slip back to Lord Protector Title whilst Parliament continued to screw the rest of us to support the real Presidents Holy Wars’ that is if our current flock of fluck ups don’t turn us into an Islamist state though immigration first.

This was and should still be a proud country with a history that as defied Republican pretences. The monarchy is an institution that flows throughout every avenue of our culture, religion, Military and civil services. Why change it for something false and fleeting without stature or pride. France almost destroyed herself, America almost certainly will if she continues on her current path, although from her birth she is the world’s only real Republic……..

Well said Granny, people tend to forget that he was putting it about for most if not all of the time he was married to Diana, he must have had his eyes shut because her beauty shone both inside and out. She was great.
