Re: Born again????

Had to re-hash this thread to let Bazf know that I read the book mentioned earlier in the thread. I read it all within a day of receiving it. A very compelling read indeed. Now AB, how about some more of your deja vu stories with regard to Vienna?????

Re: Born again????

Sorry to disappoint mate, but there isn't any more. That was it. I had a wonderful, if slightly puzzling, time and then had to come back to blighty.

I have not experienced anything similar since then. It is just that from time to time I am reminded of it when I see or hear something that is evocative of either that city or that period in my life. Perhaps I should seek out the sevices of a regressional hypnotist.

Having read the recommended book, perhaps you could share your feelings with us on the subject. Or perhaps there are specific questions you would like to ask? If so, ask away, I will do my best to answer.

Re: Born again????

Oh, sorry AB I thought there was more. At the end of the piece you said "that's PART of my story" so I thought you would go on to give more specific instances of the deja vu during your six months stay. Shame, I was really looking forward to those.

The book is well worth a read. It is quite amazing really. I probably would not have considered it so compelling had it not been written by such a prominent man who was, bravely, willing to recount his story risking ridicule and scorn from some of his, more closed-minded, peers. I'm glad that Bazf named the book as I had never heard of it before. Thank you Bazf.

Not really scarey just imaginative, like anything you can pull holes in it but makes intresting points and gives a different prospective to the every day heaven and hell theories.
