Re: Britcliffe monthly.

Awww, I haven't got one. Now I can understand last year not receiving on because after all it was a message from the Conservative party but this year - I think I'm being discriminated against. Surely if they are being issued to all the residents of St Andrew's ward I should receive one - am I being singled out here?

You could put in a freedom of information request for the posting list for the calendars.

Mine wasn't delivered to my house, I intercepted my copy.

Why doesn't someone make a callendar up showing 'some' of the grot spots in Hyndburn, and send it to Peter Britcliffe, notice I said some of the grot spots.

But what would that tell me - oh, I know, everything I knew already!

The fun part of doing it is the hassle it causes

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

I've just had this year's calendar posted through my door, from my local councillors, Peter Britcliffe and Brian Walmsley.

Times must be hard. One side of an A4 sheet, and in black and white!

What's most shocking, besides the fact that Neil and family aren't pictured on it this year (perhaps they demanded a fee this time), is that Peter Britcliffe himself is nowhere to be seen.

How I'll make it through these dark winter months, without seeing that smiling cheruic face of his, I don't know.

It looks as if the full colour, twelve gorgeous picture days, are over.

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

P.S. I hope other people received their calendars as well.

I'd hate to think they were going to all this trouble just for me.

I wish I had last years calendar. I Don't think I could think of anything much better than having that as part of my inspiring collection of political and humorous documents loosely attributed to my wall.

I haven't received one but then again I think I've been excluded from their Christmas lists for quite some time.

Perhaps they're not giving you one because they know you're moving.

But then again I don't think you received the 2006 controversial, full colour, twelve glorious Britcliffe photos one either.

No, strange that I should be excluded from that isn't it? Perhaps when I move they'll send me one then (until they find out where I've moved to!)

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

I thought my Spring edition of 'Toby Jug Collector International' had arrived early, when I collected the post from behind the door this morning.

Long gone are the days, well actually two years, of twelve glorious full colour photographs.

Perhaps it's the credit crunch.

There isn't even a shot of Neil on this year's much awaited calendar.
