BROADBAND IS IT WORTH IT

Im thinking of going on broadband with ntl and was wondering if there was any problems with it.

ntl or broadband in general.. The subject suggests in general.. I got bt broadband over three years ago.had it on test in accy before geneal release... it would kill me to go back to a modem.. if ya can get broadband then get it..

I've had NTL 600k since last December.. and it's superb.. no problems.

Dont get BT broadband, its pants.... VERY unreliable

Had broadband now for a year.Would ahte to have to go back to a standard modem

Now on ntl 600k Broadband after a few problems
the installer was late they hadent sent me a letter with all the codes i needed
there server was down .
but a nice lady sorted it all out
as my system is upstairs and they conected it to my set top box i got a lot of exercise but all is running great now

cant get used to the phone ringing while i am on line though ???
ITS GREAT fast too ;D ;D ;D ;D

im on 600k broadband as well and i will never miss dial up in a hundred years.

I have NTL 150k broadband and it's absolutely great, never had dial up so I can't compare it with anything but I have never had any problems.

Nothing but problems with NTL Broadband here.  Set-top box crashing, broadband going down, slow speeds and e-mails taking forever to check!  It's supposed to be 600k!

I've been on the phone to them about broadband going down at least 20 times, set-top box about 10 times!

Got a nice and sympathetic letter off them recently however, blaming the latest virus on clogging up the net!  Weird, our problems have been going on for at least 4 months!

i am still on dile up sure ist slower but i seam to be ok   when i am on  i dont down load that much and i dont play games on line so it does  what i need it to

I'm with BT broadband and never had any probs, leave comp on all the time now, it's great, and I can surf during the day not worrying about the cost of calls

I'm on dial up it suits me just fine. Leave all the tech stuff to they who know.
