Budweiser-pops

Just found 3 frozen Budweisers in my freezer, due to son + pals requiring fast track cooling of same over Christmas. Wondered if any of you lager drinkers out there knew if it will still be palatable, or should I sadly watch it glug glug down the plug.

Re: Budweiser-pops

Wouldn't recommend drinking it.

Over the holidays we went away with a large group of people. Twice we found wine-pops in our freezer, obviously another party guest who'd put them in there for quick cooling but forgotten about them. Had a quick sip once the wine had got back to room temp and it tasted awful!

Re: Budweiser-pops

Definately drinkable. In fact if you prefer your booze a bit stronger than the normal wait till it starts to defrost and decant it whilst there is still ice in the bottle. Basically the alcohol will defrost before teh water in the beer hence decanting it before all the water has defrosted will give an increase in ABV. This is effectively another way of distillation

Re: Budweiser-pops

be careful they don't explode!, you'd be well advised to put them straight in the fridge to defrost and not hold them. If you hold them the glass can crack, our old neighbour did that, it went all over the place, cut his hand quite badly. Unfortunately he drunk himself to death, so is no longer with us.

I assume it is the American, rather than the Czech version. In which case frozen, cooled or warm; canned or bottled - this liquid is undrinkable in any form. Any alcoholic beverage which contains Chinese Wedding Cake, such as this, cannot be termed beer. A more apt description would be drain cleaner so it is there that I suggest you consign the said substance.
