There is nothing unusual in that, Atarah; Network Rail - as well as controlling the rail tracks - are major landlords/landowners and as such railway arches are one of their major sources of non train operative income. Vehicle repair, mushroom farms, wine bars and mosques are all stuck in arches. The only questions are what exactly is being built here and why have we not seen any planning permission from HBC?

Put it this way...I've been away in strange and exotic lands for the last six months, although I've still managed to look on here most days. Anyway, I should be back in Accy in the next 48 hours..I'm looking forward to it.

Ha ha I like this in the description of the arch premises

Available for a variety of Industrial uses. Cap repair use will not be considered

So no one can use it to refurbish their typical Northern headwear - what a shame!
