Bullion By Post.

A couple of years ago the adverts were full of cash for gold offers, claiming to give the very best of prices for your sCRAP jewelry.

Lots and lots of folk took advantage of this offer even though it was shown later that they weren't really getting the best prices and would probably have got a better price from their high st. jeweler.

Obviously the people that have bought all that gold now need to turn it around and make a profit.
So what do they do? By the looks of it they target the same mugs as they caught the last time, only this time selling the stuff back to them as coins and little bars of bullion.

No doubt there will be an article in one of the papers soon saying it would have been more savvy to buy the stuff from your high st. jeweler, Perhaps in a couple of years time another advert will appear, scrap coins and bullion bought at the best prices, then a couple of years after that...

Well, you get the idea nice work for somebody.

They don't use lead, they use tungsten - it weighs the same by volume as gold.

Just a further thought, first time around the gold they bought was old jewelry, this had to be assessed then melted down and made into the various trinkets now being offered.

When it comes time to offer low, low, prices in exchange for what is bought this time, all these little pieces of gold are now conveniently in little packages no doubt with serial numbers and other markings so that they can be easily recognised.

What's the betting though, that when they do offer to buy them back, they will still knock a bit off the value for having to check it's authenticity.

Re: Bullion By Post.

I bought some sovereign coins from this company last year and found them a professional company to deal with. The buying prices are good, only if you want to sell them back to them the prices aren't so good.
