Bury bus 484

I know some of you catch the 484 to bury from Accrington ... as some of you might know ... Rossendale buses have been bought by transdev .... well theyre changing the 484 .. in fact they are stopping the 484 bus to bury ... and replacing it with the new redirected X41 bus to Manchester ... its not till the beginning of April though ... so you will be ok till then ...

Bury - Ramsbottom

This route will run between Bury and Ramsbottom every 15 mins Mon-Sat daytime, with buses running on evenings and Sundays too, and timekeeping will be improved. The Ramsbottom-Accrington section will now covered by an enhanced Red Express X41. Easy connections will be available at Ramsbottom for Accrington and Haslingden, and through tickets will be available. New direct links between Haslingden and Bury will continue to be available on route 481.

Re: Bury bus 484

Was worried when I heard Transdev were taking over Rosso buses, it's currently a brilliant & reliable service which I use quite often but saying that the 484 has never run through to Bury on Sundays, you've had to change at Rawtenstall so I suppose it'll just be the same as that.
It would be better if they were carrying on with the through service but it's not a great hassle to change as long as the connections are kept as regular as they are now.

Re: Bury bus 484

481 Bury - Rawtenstall - Haslingden - Royal Blackburn Hospital - Blackburn

New links. This will be a new route linking Blackburn, Royal Blackburn Hospital, Haslingden, Rawtenstall and Bury direct, every hour, replacing the 244.

I wasn't right impressed either cashy ... Rossendale transport was one of the few that was still owned by a council ... well we now have to put up with it ... but that is going to be the replacement to bury from haslingden ...
