Re: Camilla - Charles
I wonder what on earth made them pick that date?
They've gone and upstaged us now! Ours isn't until May 14th.
I think people should stop having opinions and just let them get on with it.

Everybody will have forgotten theirs by then Willow. I'm sure that yours will be far nicer and not some media fiasco, which theirs is sure to be.

Re: Camilla - Charles
I agree with Pixie on this subject, I used to be very much in favour of the monarchy but now I don't really care much either way.
Pixie, I loved your "deranged slapper" posting but the accyweb won't allow me to give you karma ....next time

Re: Camilla - Charles
I think the wedding date should be 31st August, just to **** off all the Di fan club.

Re: Camilla - Charles
I was not a huge fan of Diana, but I think Charles treated her abominably, just used her to provide him with two sons....I don't think he ever loved her....he even said as much when they got engaged. Well, what goes around comes around.
I couldn't give two hoots for either of them. In fact if I said what I really think they would probably have me locked up in the tower!

Re: Camilla - Charles
hows this for name dropping i used to be a real royalist, having met prince charles and his father and been to lunch with the princess royal. i was also professionally quite involved with the duke of westminster . but i must admit since diana and the qheens reaction i honestly think that this country could get along fine without them. recent events have ruined the whole concept of a royal family.

I don't mind either way about the monarchy. I always think we could be much worse off, even if they are only a figurehead.
