Car In The Lodge Near Asda

My friends were at Asda earlier and when they were coming out all in-going traffic was stopped due to a car being in the lodge next door. Anybody know any more about it???

Thought it must have been serious, I was coming along Hyndburn Rd earlier, 2 fire engine's, 2 police cars, police van & an ambulance, thank god she got out alive, but would love to know how on earth she managed to end up in there in the 1st place.

Re: Car In The Lodge Near Asda

it was actually my partner that phoned for the emergency services when he was going into adsa he had to slam his brakes on as the woman turned into the first corner coming out ok then just carried on at the second corner mounted the pavement and went through the fence the car only just missed him and when he saw the back wheels go over he then got the emergency crew out as soon as he could and let other people know what had gone on someone managed to get down to the car and reassured the woman that help was on its way and as it was reported in the telegraph it wasnt the lodge it was the river

I'll bet they had to take some blokes off resurfacing that road to do that.

Might seem a bit harsh this but, isn't it time she handed her licence in for her safety and the sake of everybody elses on the road?
