Re: car park next to pet w/house
So it has a sign saying it is a car park, it looks like a car park and people park their cars on there, but technically it is not a car park?

I seem to recall a sign the last time I stood at the bus stop there. That was 2 weeks ago. Maybe my memory is deceiving me.

Yep, I think so - it's not a car park.

Re: car park next to pet w/house
What I was attempting to say - probably not clearly enough - was that it's not a case of someone digging up a car park, even though that's what it's been used for. It's actually a case of someone not stopping people from parking there cars there whilst they wait until they have enough money to build the church.

Re: car park next to pet w/house
I think what you are trying to say, Gayle, is that the land was never actually designated a car park by the local authority and it is unlikely to be marked as a car park on any maps of the area. However, insofar as the land has not been tarmaced over and tarted up does not render it's name any different from its usage; if it is used as a car park, then that is what it is.

This diatribe is sooo funny. Tealeaf on the wind-up again
Look at Planning Application 11/7/0686 Steveo.
Of course, the decision hasn't been posted as yet, but why does that not surprise me !

Suprisingly all those cars weren't from the garage in John St, they were from a firm in Liverpool.
Yes, work has eventually begun on the church this week.

Untaxed vehicles shouldnt be on there anyway. Regardless of anything else untaxed vehicles should be stored on private land any car on public land are liable to be fined and/or confiscated. End of rant.

Now this is where it gets technical, the land was private land but the landowner let it be used as a car park, now can an untaxed car be parked on there or not?
