Car Tax : What A Nightmare.
Went to Accrington this morning to tax the car, waited patiently in the queue as you do, Got to me and handed over my log book, MOT and insurance details only to be told they could not tax my car. When i challenged as to why they said that DVLA had somehow changed my taxation class from PLG to Disabled taxation.
 I then produced my receipt for the last time i had taxed it at Accrington. There was no getting around it and ive had to drive all the way to Preston, queue for 1 1/2 hours just to tax the car ! Another day wasted ...  |

You could have flown out to Poland this morning, bought an old banger for fifty quid, drove it back to the UK ( say total cost 250 quid) and then you will never ever have to worry about paying tax/insurance again on the car.
