Re: Chaigley Manor

i love chaigley! i went there when i was about 10 stayed there for a few days and it was when nicole and stephen had it too, they were a fab couple and even had kids of there own so we used to play with them, they bought a lamb and a kid goat for us and we named and cleaned them, we went for walks over the hills and even to camelot theme park, that was when they bought that big red bus! one of the helpers made a rope swing and he used to swing us high and we always thought we would get in trouble as we thought it was dangerous.
i also remember when i was in the brownies, back in the day, they used to have like a fun day, were there would be lots of stalls and games for everyone. as a brownie i would help out on different stalls. it was also the time when chris sutton used to play for blackburn rovers and he had a house not far from chaigley and every time we went past it on the bus we would be in awe simply because he was a famous footballer, we would pick the familiy up from school and they would take us all to a local park, they painted the big play room with huge drawings of disney characters and power rangers etc made it bright and fun.
they were fab days i was so upset when they closed it down, give me chaigley over living abroad anyday!!
