I would also guess that if you asked them for a member of staff to push the stuff out to the car in a normal trolley they would as well.
What happens when they get the shopping home, how does it get out of the car in to the house ?

Re: change of rules
Don't they also have a service at Asda whereby the disabled person sits in the car and they provide a personal shopper

Re: change of rules
The story is in the Observer, apparently her Mum used to bring the scooter out to the car but Asda are saying they are not insured for outside use. They have said they will happily get a member of staff to help the lady into the store and back to her car. Just can't allow scooters to be used outside.

I can't see anything wrong with that.

Me neither by the sounds of it there was no complaint made at Asda but the lady is saying friends have been given different reasons as to why the scooters can't be used outside. Just an excuse for a moan instead of complaining at the store or asking for alternative help

LOL .. yes, it is the same reporter as both stories, the butty shop and the goat story, she must think she is Defender of the People with certain leanings to the informant. Story not up on web-site yet, but this is her:-

Are you referring to the JB shopping method of parking in the disabled bays while the able bodied shopper goes inside
Or do you mean but online

According to the story she doesn't get out on her own but shopping at Asda gives her a bit of independence
