Re: ‘Chav capital of Britain’

Fair enough, Accy has its fair share of chavs but so do most other towns of Accy's size. Yes we have a council who don't know their backsides from their elbows, but plenty of other places in the world have far worse than us. At least HBC provide us with some entertainment......

The thing I like about Accy is that we have some beautiful countryside around here. We are in the perfect location to visit the Lake District, the seaside and cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and Preston. None of our North West attractions are very far from Accy which means that we can visit them and still come home at the end of the day. I'd rather live in Accy than Blackpool...

Slightly better?

The weather abroad is always better - that's why I go abroad! I went to Crete last year, and one of the tour guides said that it doesn't rain in the summer!

Please please please keep them in England, this weekend I had a football conference to attend in Orlando as I was booking in to the hotel in front of me was a family from the Manchester area, I say family I should have said extended family as the couple in their 50s with 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls about late teens and 3 children under 5 belonging to the 2 girls, the F bomb was every other word an example being "aye shas they got f...ing clubs ear that we can go to" I know end look at that f...ing pool, dis is goner b f...ing goud" "mam take the f...ing kids to da f...ing room me n shas r going fer a swim"
I for the first time in my life was embarrassed about my accent and tried to explain to the girl on the desk that not everyone from England was like that and they were probably from Yorkshire.
