Childs body found!
The body of a 12-year-old girl has been found by the roadside in East Cowick, East Yorkshire.

It is understood she was found near junction 35 of the M62

nothing further to add, its breaking news on sky!

poor sod!

Terrible...

I guess the family of the missing girl in Blackpools heart sank when they saw this, but this body is apparently looking like it has been dead for upto 6 weeks, and she's only been missing 2 days. Bit like Ian Beale on Eastenders having to go view a girls body and see it wasn't his.

It says it hasn't been confirmed whether it is a childs body yet online.

The girl in Blackpool was found safe and well last night in Cleveleys.

Still a wee bit confused with this though, how could they say the body of a 12 year old girl, and it turn out to be the body of a man??

Emzy, it looks like the body may have been there for a while or at least whoever it is has been dead for a while so is very decomposed, in the news article it talks about reconstruction of the face for identification purposes

Ahhh, just seems strange to me how they can be so specific as to age and gender then be completely wrong, but saying that I have never seen a badly decomposed body so wouldnt even know what they look like
