Christmas Bonus ?
Will we,won't we?That question as to wether we'll be getting our Xmas bonus this year has been our topic of conversation at work for the past few weeks.I would have to say at this point it's looking slim.Since iv'e been there they have been quite genorous at Xmas, but as the company as grown, the festive goodwill has diminished,to the point where last year we were rewarded for keeping deadlines, all weather working, and generally being messed around by incompetent management, with some last minute cheap plonk Still the office staff do get an all expenses paid meal & night out I know on the grand scale of things it's not much, but to be appreciated at this time of year would go along way in boosting staff morale(which has to be said,is rock bottom).I'll post on here tomorrow night to let you all know how it all turned out.

Re: Christmas Bonus ?
i hear what your saying
as every employee gets £75 of marks & spencer vouchers which although to the younger folk isnt a very good place to get a voucher for it helps by mum or dad their xmas gift etc
the kick in the nuts is that in april around £15 extra goes out of your wage because the company puts it all through the books or whatever and you pay tax on the vouchers , also to get these vouchers you have to hand over £1.00 so that the owner of teh company gets a present from his workers which i would say there was around quite a few hundred employees ( to be honest i think the managers pocket this money because in the years i was there i never got to hear what was bought for teh boss) besides what do you buy a muliti millionair ?

no longer there mate
to be fair £49 is better than nothing but as the company has gotten bigger it has lost a lot of its qualities from when it was smaller , i guess bigger companies equals tighter fists
my ex partners brother worked at warbertons and they got a pretty large cash sum as a bonus and it went up every year you worked there , i think they started offf as a few hundred quid as their forst bonus

Re: Christmas Bonus ?
The company I work for have a good annual bonus scheme. This year it's 5% of salary for everyone. Unfortunatley I don't work as an employee I'm a contractor so I don't even get holiday pay next week

Re: Christmas Bonus ?
Forgot to post here Friday due to all the xmas shenanigans But our xmas bonus this year was absolutley naff all, zilch We did get to finish a couple of hours early, but that only benefited those on the back shift, and we don't know if we get paid or not(at that stage we were beyond caring,we just wanted to get out on the pop!)
