I took ours down on 27th as the tree was very wilted! Usually do it NYD for a clean, fresh start, am normally fed up of looking at them by that time!

Hyndburn have collection days set in place for the removal of old trees.

Harwood 4th Baxenden/Huncoat 10th.
Belthorn/Church 11th
Rishton 5th Ferngore/Springhill 12th
Ossy/knuzden 6th Accy 13th/14th.
Clayton/Altham 7th
At least that is plan A

Always take ours down on Twelfth Night.

We have a living Christmas tree which not only prevents it from wilting but saves a fortune year on year as prices rise.
