That's correct, just wondered though.. got a text back from Orange Monday, saying 'Hope I enjoyed the film last week. To request a ticket to go again this Wednesday just reply YES. To opt out of film texts reply STOP'. Heard about these stop things, but presume they will just keep on texting me every week to see if I am going the next Wednesday? Not some sort of scam ?

Re: Cinema/Movie ticket prices
I stopped going to the pictures many years ago.....I am too 'antsy' to sit and watch a film.....and I go to sleep easily in the dark. I'm not even good at watching videos........I want to be doing something else.

I'm pretty similar unless it's a film I really want to see! A film has to catch my interest in the first five minutes or I want to get up and do something else instead. I'm probably in the minority that I prefer to watch films on channels with adverts then I can get up during the break

No it's mostly texts about wallpapers and ringtones they sell on their wap downloads site kate, or offers of competitions. Sometimes its just to let you know a new film is coming out.
If you don't use a ticket that you've asked for, they usually say sorry you didn't get to see the film bla bla, and they text you a few times saying tommorow is orange wednesday, don't forget for your fre ticket text.
No It's not a scam, they don't charge you for texts recieved, or certainly don't on contract, and if you text stop they do. I've been on it for years, at least three. I've seen loads of films, batman, spiderman, wallace and grommit, chicken run, star wars, star trek, matrix 3, tomb raider, league of extra ordinary gentlemen, 40 days and 40 nights, loads more that i can't remember, a few jackie chan films.

No I don't think you are, I think most people welcome the odd break. It's when we get them every ten minutes it does peoples nut in. every half hour is great, gives you chance to go loo, put the kettle on, let the dog out, and some of the ads are actually interesting.
Or am I wrong as usuall?

It's best not to go and watch a film at the same time as Slinky and Tinkerbelle. Being a friendly pair they do usually warn us on here, that they are going to see a film so the rest of us can go on a different night
