Yes, Dennis Howson and his wife Eve... met them through the Accrington Amateur, did quite a few shows with them. Eve is now well connected with St. James's Church in some way. Haven't seen her for ages.

My mum grew up on Alexandra Street, her maiden name was Houghton, I remember some of the Howson were still living there when I used to go & visit my Grandma

Not sure if there is a 'photo in the ones Wadey has posted (they are great by the way), but here is one of the swing bridge I took a couple of weeks ago, Eric. Not quite as I remember it, however, may have been replaced in the last 53 years ? LOL.
