Clever marketing.
Well, certainly grabs your attention, even if you don't like the tactics.

Re: Clever marketing.
No Kate, I think it is very cynical, and serves to make stereotypical judgements about sections of the community who already feel pressurised.

That's the whole point though Margaret ... the idea is to put out cynical and controversial subjects to get people talking and to take note... that's what advertising/marketing is about .. to grab maximum attention at minimal outlay.
Just think was rather clever, as long as they don't push their luck and put out too hurtful subjects.

Re: Clever marketing.
yes, I get the point, but find it a very exploitative way to market advertising space....cynical.....and not pleasant....a bit like being kicked in the goolies(or what I imagine that to be like)......and I don't think it will endear itself to the folk who buy the space.
I think that the public get sick of stuff like this.

Oh dear Jaysay, you must learn to read the links better ... Maybe if the slogan had read 'Tories to cut pensions by 50%' would have grabbed your attention more.
Fell flat anyway.

Good to see that Germany has not influenced your British sense of humour Dave.
