Post clock key mystery

this was in the letters in the observer.
dose anyone know the whereabouts of the key for the towngate clock in great harwood ,

it appears that about four week's ago it missing during the local holiday period and the town's clock keeper is unable to wind it up.
come on how got?

Its probably a winding handle not a key.
More than likely its now in the local scrap yard.

Came over the brow on Church St a couple of weeks ago, and thought "Oh, they've fixed the clock"
