use the owd un, when they ring, say who am i speaking too, how do you know mr/mrs ******, then say when did ya last see them, n you are Detective Inspector ******, and have just found their body, please give me yer address, etc etc, ya can have bags of fun whilst they are then crapping themselves.

p.s. they will usually say they don't know the person, then say well why have you rung to speak to them when you dont know em.

he did one where somone rang up asking if he was interested in buying a funeral plan and he said yeah funny you shoudl call and said he was just about to kill himself ( while sobbing) then asked if they had finance available lol .Youtube his name and enjoy lol

I get quite a few calls from debt collection agencies, cold calling trying to locate persons with the same 'family' name as myself , the latest calls have been for someone called Tom ***** , the usual patter is if Tom ***** is available , I tell them I'm sorry but Tom is unavailable as he has passed on , the surprised caller then offers condolences asks for details ......Then I explain that my grandad Tom died in 1954 .... usually followed by words in basic "anglo-saxon " English .

I had two old calls yesterday one was a foreign woman wanting to do a leisure service, number not obtainable, and one from a firm called Baker and Brown exterior designers, number withheld, they both got, "you should not be ringing me I'm on the preferred callers list", the woman hadn't a clue what I was on about and the bloke asked why he shouldn't be calling me, so I answered in words of one syllable, think he got the drift
