That article is a fine piece of prose and the author deserves to be credited with making it. Dismissing it as a bit of “Internet fluff” is an insult to the author. If the author is unknown then a simple “Anon” at the end would have made it clear that the person posting it was not claiming copyright.
That’s a bit presumptuous to suggest that it “may bring a little ray of sunshine into someone elses miserable life.”

No one is losing the plot here.
Breach of copyright, that is plagiarism, is a serious issue as many a student has found out to their cost when presenting their work to the tutor, having copied it from a web page.

I wonder what view you would take if you wrote an article or a book and someone else cashed in on your work? Up in arms demanding compensation, perhaps?
The music and literary industries take breaches of copyright very seriously as do the photographic and art world.

Don't be silly, if he came on here and said " Oh that was really good, cheered me up no end, thanks Tal " Everyone on Accyweb, would probably drop dead of shock.

Re: Comfortable in old age
Who cares who wrote it it was good
I didn't write this but I thought I share it with you, it was broght back from Austrailia a few years ago and hangs over my desk, unforunatly i is now very true
The Gold Years
The Golden years have come at last
I cannot see, I cannot pee,
I cannot chew, I cannot s***w
My memory shrinks, my hearing stinks,
No sense of smell, I look like hell!
My body's drooping, got trouble pooping.
The golden years have come at last.......
TE GOLDEN YEARS CAN KISS MY ASS
