Community Wardens
Well the axe has now fallen on the Community Wardens,half their number have received termination of employment notices.
As ever Christmas time was the chosen announcement date....
I am sure the Hyndburn community will suffer as a result of this underfunding,the eyes and ears of law enforcement have now been reduced to a token force.How will this effect the reporting of criminal activities?
Well we will have to see.

When is this useless Council ever going to see the damage they are doing to this once fantastic town!!!

Did'nt really see the wardens in our area that much but on the odd occasion that I did they were always very nice, stopping and talking to the kids and everything so I am sure that they were doing a worthwhile job.

The community wardens in Accrington did a calendar with themselves posing in a "pin up" fashion if ya follow me...
