Re: Conifer Problem

Lol, I did plant a great big buddleia right next to our fence which attracted thousands of bees as well as butterflies.

Revenge was as sweet as the scent from the shrub.

Got to give credit were credit is due. If you are going to do something about a problem make it a bigger one than the first with a bit of class.

And whatever you do DONT let the gypsies at them. You might not like the trees now but they'll look even worse if they're dead and brown too. Plus somebody else will have to deal with the branches that will no doubt be dumped elsewhere.

Thanks Chav. I haven't forgotten.

Anyway I went to Homebase today and got one of those garden vac thingies. It was quite cheap and it only took me half an hour, a broken finger-nail and a bit of swearing to put it together. It's good and the garden looks very tidy now. I was tempted to stick it over the fence and put it on "blow" when the bag was full - but I restrained myself.

The sensible if sometimes frustrating way to do things. Me i would proberly blown the lot back over and then went to find a few more piles of leaves and dump them.
