by that i'm referring to people not involved in politics, not those who do it for a career. just some of those.

Must say cashy for once I agree with you, I don't watch talking shops anymore, watched enough in mi time, but have more important things to think of these days, I'll leave the conference watching to youngsters like Andrew, maybe when he turns 60 he may think the way we do

I think you may be right there.I've spent years listening to the lies of all politicians,bankers,insurance agents,in fact all agents and now I have become immune to all their rantings,I just plod on doing my own thing.

just to let you know, Andrew, I got the speech and I started to read it. Unfortunately, I was distracted by another document that just happened to be lying around and I switched my attention to that. This was the Blackpool-Colne railway timetable November '07 to May '08. This was a truly fascinating and exciting read and somewhat eclipsed the Tory speech. I fully recommend it to you.
