Councils told what

not to say!!!

BBC NEWS | Magazine | Why do councils love jargon?

Theyve been told 100 words not to use when 'in communication with the public'. Had a look at some of them words never heard of some of them but talk about gobbledygook!!!

There is too much jargon, the sound of buzz words which covers up the plop of bs being deposited. I myself am proud to eschew obfuscations.

I must say one of my particular black hates is the use of the the word "yourself" when the speaker means to say "you".
