Cross Edge, Oswaldtwistle.
Can anyone help me with Mrs taddies family tree ? I have found a relation of hers a Joshua Cunliffe who lived at number 1 Cross Edge, Oswaldtwistle in 1891 but I don't have a clue where it is/was, all/any help appreciated.

Cross Edge is on your left if you go up Broadfield (which is the continuation of Fielding Lane) and is opposite what used to be the Shoulder of Mutton Pub. You can also get to it by going straight up Willows Lane and following it round until you pass the boundry post for Oswaldtwistle you are then on Cross Edge at the opposite end to if you had travelled up Broadfiled. Most of the properties on Cross Edge have been modernised but I think it is still the original housing that has been there for well over 100 years.
