Cuts? What Cuts?

BBC News - Ribble Valley council 'will not cut jobs or services'

So Ribble Valley can ride the cuts in grants without losing jobs and services.

Good management, or a reflection of the affluence of the Ribble Valley?

Re: Cuts? What Cuts?

According to the news report last week it's a bit of both, common sense & savings made appropriately where applicable & a more affluent society in their area.

Re: Cuts? What Cuts?

also they only received cuts of 6.09% - Hyndburn had cuts of 8.9% and has also lots Housing Market Renewal money and other Area Based grants it had been receiving because of the levels of deprivation in the borough.
