Re: Debenhams

Please dont have a go at the op for asking about percentage values. Some people just dont have a clue when it comes to percentages etc. Not everybody is a mathmatics genius.

Yes 20% is an easy figure to work out ..... if you know how too.

Re: Debenhams

look, it was sunday morning, i was tired and lazy and thought it would be easier to scan without engaging my brain. it is a simple calculation but like someone said earlier, i might have genuinely not been able to work it out!

Tomorrow i shall be writing to the home addresses of the directors of debenhams. (i will get them from companies house).

I will let you know how i get on

Re: Debenhams

Yes it is a stupid law and trust me if it was possible the managers would have the staff helping you, just please don't take your anger out on the people on the shop floor, they are the ones who are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They help you and break the rules so face a blasting from the boss, the don't help and this happens, remember it's not them that make the rules, don't shoot the messenger and all that

Re: Debenhams

But she wasn't asking them to serve her before 11am, only to answer a question.

I hope you get a better response from them than we've had from Tesco about our exploding cans. We're still waiting for an apology but meanwhile we've had a lot of fobbing off.

It wouldn't have hurt them to be polite and answer you would it even if they did think you were winding them up?
