How can you judge what he might or might not like music wise?

Perhaps he would have done better fibbing to be in line with the social stereotype of him in your head!

Well done Andrew, you've actually defended a none Tory, I hope in the future it gives you the nightmares your party will give the common folk.
Nah, you know which side your Bum is buttered.
More crumpet Minister? I have enough room for an extra slice and can move my cheeks nearer to the fire.

Well you can't but you can tell a man by his music If he is truthful.I'm leaning towards Shakira and Sunday Morning going down but that's just me on a lonely Sunday night.

Being a long-time listener of Desert Island Discs I'm sure you recognise the parallels to previous prominent politicians' choices, don't you? Or are you just trying to stir it again......badly?

Come back at me when they bring this up in one of your life textbooks.

Wow, the honour!

Well, a bit of Elgar, bit of Limp Bizkit, bit of Hannah Montana, bit of Cliff.

That should appeal to the core voters.

Actually, I'll have a think about this seriously because the only piece of music I couldn't stand not to hear ever again is the Doctor Who theme by Murray Gold. The irony is that Life on Mars would probably also be one of my choices!

I'll get back to you in 7-10 working days....
