My mum still says it, if I'm acting a bit gormless.
You'd think the price should have gone up, as inflation rose.
Today cheese at fourpence wouldn't be there very long.

For those not reet well up on their Lanky, here's the translations of the above phrases.
1 Isn't it hot
2 Something is wrong over here
3 Get it eaten
4 Is something the matter
5 Is something the matter with him
6 I have not got it
7 I am getting out of here
8 Has he given it to you
9 On the top of the hill
10 He is going home
11 Have you got it right
12 Have you got it with you
13 Put it in here
14 I have not heard of it
15 You will have to get them one
16 He says it is not, but I bet it is
17 Let us get our hands washed
18 We have got to get out hymn books
19 Some of them will have to get off
20 You must learnt it
21 Perhaps it is not hers
22 He's nothing but a baby
23 Where is the boss

19 Summonum alatergerroff
That used to be the favorite term used by stroppy bus conducters, on bus coming home from work.
