Dialect phrases to describe Hyndburn (Greater Accrington)

Interesting link from the BBC news website , seems the "arts" folks of Nelson have come up with a good/interesting concept to preserve their heritage for future generations , (no flash mobs or crotcheted willy warmers)

BBC News - Old Pendle dialect phrases to be put on cube artworks

so what do the users of Accy web think would be the best 'dialect' sayings to be carved in stone to describe Hyndburn/Greater Accrington for future generations ...

answers in local dialect only

Just a little wonder, remember coming home late one night when I was only 17 well sozzled, the old dear was stood at the door house coat on hairnet and curlers head nodding like a pigeon. Drunk agean John, Ya mum so am I, that was one of the few times the old lady smacked me round the ear
