My cat opens wardrobe doors.
I had to change the ring style drawer handles on my bedroom suite- he was using them like doorknockers.

I once had a fridge which he had learned how to open.

So I wasn't surprised when I thought he had learned how to shake the headboard.

Never heard or felt a thing - I was in such a blissful sleep cos Stanley had won. The only time last night the earth moved for me last night was when the ref blew for full time & we'd got all 3 points

Re: Did the Earth move for you?

Well, id just finished watching 4 episodes of 24 and gone to bed when it started. Seriously thought it was someone breaking in after the initial sensation of 'why's my bed moving like im on a boat' had subsided. I spent a good 10 minutes with the aid of a golf club, checking each room (making sure I covered my exits and blind spots and, like any good CTU agent, opening the doors first before entering) for intruders!

Wasnt till this morning that I found out it was an earthquake - had no idea what it was when experiencing it!

Cool Re: Did the Earth move for you?

Hope! Never felt a thing.

You could say that I was shaken but not stirred.

Re: Did the Earth move for you?

I`d fell asleep on the setee only to be woken by a rumbling sound and strange sensation at 00.58, thought i was dreaming but when i got up i was staggering about as the whole house was shaking(had`nt had a drink) the wife and kids were totally oblivious to it all.then i heard a loud bang but as it was windy i did`nt think anything of it.I relayed this to my workmate when i got in at 5.30 this morning and he laughed and said i`d been dreaming it was only when Chris Moyles on the radio caught my ear when he mentioned Epicentre that i found out what had actually gone on
