I remember the 90's power cuts telephone cuts and water cuts, when we had that really heavy snow end of november, it bought down all the power and telephone lines. no power meant no water, we all had tanks in the streets. early 90's it was, before 95 I'm sure.

Yes we were affected, dont know how long we were off for because we'd been out, we're near Wensley Drive, this happens on a regular basis at the moment.

No, if we opened the door it dimly lit up downstairs, and we sat with the curtains open, showing off to the neighbours, it also powered a black and white portable TV.
