We didn't have such things as books in our house in Holland Street apart from those I used to get from the bookstand at St Andrew's School. I'd read all of them by the time I was ten.

I remember one in particular 'A Friend for Frances'. It was so lovely and I read it umpteen times.

My children had bed time stories and my daughter has followed it on with hers. Nothing nicer than a good book!

Jaysay, we've got a a superb position that has just opened up if you can stop playing with your new oxygen bottle for just a moment, (tsk, him and his crazes, last week it was chest infection, who knows what it will be next week).

Saffron doesn't now... she reads to herself. Rhys gets made up ones, he prefers them, normally when he is a superhero! Not sure if I got em, will have to ask my Mum

i didnt... ty used to but he likes to read on his own now, too big for mummy to read to him Grace likes stories, her favourite is 'pretty ponies' it has an annoying squeaker on it that makes her laugh
