...despite posting on here, a certain Conservative Councillor thinks that :-

..."this accy web site seems to be full of propaganda and a way to stir up the public with not actually alot of true facts but when i am feeling a little fed up i will read it to cheer me up a bit"

I replied that the site is the only way we get to know what is really happening in the Council Chambers.

Regrettably, the posts on this forum regarding facts and figures are perfectly true.

Although having said that I have been going through the new expenditure figures and the fee for Aldo Zilli is now £9268.63 with corporate and advertising fees so I suppose the figure of £8,030 was technically a lie.

It wasn't intentionally blatant because that was what I was quoted as being the cost of his visit.

It turns out that I was misinformed by the council but passed on that information as the truth, ergo I lied, albeit unintentionally because I didn't know any better.

Why don't you say which councillor it is?

Presumably he's not going to sue you, for merely reporting what he said.

Always pays to provide as many facts as possible. Otherwise people fear it might all be smoke and mirrors.

Mr Whittaker is his name, Councillor for Huncoat ward. He was the only Conservative Councillor to reply to my letter by email, which was asking for justification of increased Child care Expenses and the lack of receipts needed. Unfortunately, he refused to comment despite voting in favour of the increase and it affecting all Council tax payers of Hyndburn.

I just wonder what rubbish has been spouted in Tory group meetings about Accy Web.

Is he the only Tory Councillor who posts on here?
