Re: Diodes?

What is the application for which you need some diodes?

If it's power diodes you are in need of, Harmsworth & Townley of Todmorden has probably the best ex-stock selection in the country.
I've used rectifiers from these people for 20 years now.

I hope this helps.

Re: Diodes?

more phone calls to cpc, three or four I can't remember. They cut me off several times. got passed to customer services from accounts, to be transferred straight back again. Wasn't untill I tried to order another pc and a repair technician got involved that someone from accounts started wwriting down figures that I claim I owe. I'm claiming the 115 refund that they gave me as compensation as they refunded it under that description.
I think I'm owed it, 7 months 5 pc's, including one being one of the previous ones that i'd returned as faulty, the phone calls, paying someone to be in the office when they call. Then losing the last pc that only went for repair that had my extra hard drive in and personal data.
I just want a working pc.
Thanks to whoever put the guide to avoiding o870 numbers in the tech section too. Thats saved me a load.

Re: Diodes?

You will probably find that yours is a different CPC. There is one that sells computers, this one has been round for years and As far as I know doesn't.

Re: Diodes?

Sounds like the same place in Preston to me Ian. They sell electrical spares, IT stuff, white goods spares ( replacement washing machine support spider and drum bearings cost me < £21 last week. The repair shops in Ossy/Accy wanted £35.) and other stuff
