I felt awful that night, but when i got off the premises i was fine. When Les came up to the Bees Knees it felt the same again & had to go home. As soon as i got outside i was fine. It felt like somebody had just poured puke & sh1t all over me.

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
Yes, I do know what you mean Panther...but there are so many things that we truly do not know.....and things that we may not be able to see, but do exist...that was the point that I was trying to make.
So although I may not be able to SEE something....I reserve judgement on whether to believe or not. I suppose it is called 'sitting on the fence'.

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
I can't see air but I'm still willing to breathe it to stay alive
I do believe in spirits.
I've probably mentioned the one above the Skipton Building Society in Blackburn before. Not anything I'd ever seen but certainly felt and had a couple of run-ins with.
I thinks ghosts can sometimes be spirits of the dead which can communicate with us and sometimes nothing more than a recording in the air of something which occurred in the past. How or why that happens I hae no idea.

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
I've got this theory.
Some people say they've seen apparitions in clothes from long ago and they'll say they walked through walls etc. My theory is that what they see is some sort of time-slip; not the spirit of a dead person but a sort of photographic image of a moment in time past, superimposed on the present. A case in point is the Romans at York. Several visitors to the museum are said to have seen Roman soldiers marching along in the basement but all, sort of, cut off at the knees. They've found out that the original Roman road was about 2 feet lower than the floor of the basement that's built on it, so they're marching on the road and you can't see their feet.
Doesn't explain my disappearing lady in the church though.

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
I believe in them. A couple of stories for you to believe or not its up to you to make your mind up...
When i was a kid about 6 i used to live in huncoat next to the graveyard and EVERY night i used to look out my window lying in bed and without fail i saw a pair of hands reach on to the window sill slowly. This went on for about 3 years or so. My mum didnt believe me then but as they years have passed i always tell this when the topic comes up and it hasnt changed one word so she believes me now.
And another one was when i was about 13. My grandfather passed away and i was really close to him. On the day of the funeral we were outside waiting to get into the cars when i looked up at the window to see my grandfather waving goodbye. I told my mum who said it was not funny at all till she looked and saw him too.
And yet another for the spirit side of this topic...
When my grandma was about to pass away my dad would not let me see her anf for that i hated him for some months but slowly saw that in a way he was protecting my memories of her. When i finally found out where she was buried i went up to say goodbye by myself. I was in jeans and t shirt but it was really raining hard but i didnt care less getting soaked and crying my eyes out. After about 20 mins of talking to her i went back to the car and as i was driving away from plesington i looked up to see not the grey clouds and raing of only a few mins ago but a beautiful sunshine and clear blue sky shining down on to my face. And all i could think was is that you grandma.
So there you go life story over lol

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
My late mother used to have a saying, "there are far more things between Heaven and Earth than a mere mortal can hope to comprehend in their short lifetime" food for thought, whenever I feel in need of guidance, I ask my late mother, nothing to be seen but the answer is usually forthcoming.
