Do You Feel Left Out!!
went shopping for some pants today what a nightmare! The choice of clothing for blokes is a joke. Why do womens wear take up 3 quarters of the store and menswear is shoved in a corner at the other side of the building somewhere. They had more choice of underwear for women than all the accessories for men, surely there is no need to stock all this stuff for women after all you can only wear one outfit at a time!

Re: Do You Feel Left Out!!
Seriously, if you are looking for decent mens clothes, get to Kendals, on Deansgate, in Manchester. The lower ground floor is the menswear department. They probably have the largest selection of mens clothing in the northwest.

Re: Do You Feel Left Out!!
I have to agree that there's not much locally for the fellas (clothing wise) but there's not much in Accy for the ladies either. I rarely buy women's clothes in Accy, I tend to plump for Manchester or Blackburn. There's never anything in Dorothy perkins that catches my eye. Mark 1 and New Look only sell tat. Everything I have had from NL has either lost it's shape in the wash or consists of cheap thin material and sub-standard stitching. I prefer shops like Next, it's not expensive but definitely better quality and stands up to a good wash. Of course, Accy will never get decent clothes shops while the rents are so high. As far as most of my friends are concerned they never shop in Accy for clothes.

Re: Do You Feel Left Out!!
Do you not have a bhs somewhere.
Or if you really prefer women's I can highly recommend La Senza (not that I wear their stuff, but my wife does... )

You could always make a trip up to Lancaster. It's slightly better up here, slightly.

Re: Do You Feel Left Out!!
I'm really spoiled in E. Germany...all those mens shops full of Teutonic clothes; Leather Thigh-Slapping trousers, red armbands (with natty little black logo), Rousting heavy jackets fringed with real fur, jackboots (black, for the use of), Small extendable whipping crops, and wonderful monocles aiding your nightly preview of the buxom beer serving wenches.
But then again.......................
I can come to Accy, and have a real boring choice with mini rows of old world clothing and no changing rooms. And the prices..................my god..................do you all earn £100000 a year??
Back to the bier keller...matey......................
