I feel sorry for you Neil having "Mr i am great Britcliffe" as your councillor. Maybe one day you will get one who isnt into so much self publisity and trouble making.

Gayle even if you did follow his lead you could still do a better job his arrogence would make President Blair and the first lady Cherrie blush.

No but I bet you will knock on a few doors in the lead up to the election, never ever did PB & BW do any knocking at ours, mind the ex MP lived next door, so I think they assumed they had my vote it seems like i've still got the same breed in my new ward

To be perfectly honest I think having the leader of the council as your ward councillor is very good indeed, no matter who he or she is. I have heard Cllr Britcliffe being accused of being biased towards Oswaldtwistle, my thought on that is "it's good isn't it ". As long as the Conservatives are in power in Hyndburn I am all for Cllr Britcliffe being my ward councillor. However if Labour were in control of Hyndburn I think a Labour ward councillor might be more useful. Anyone know who will be in power after the next election?

No Gary. I have very little interest in politics in general. It was just an observation.
