I use mine "VERY" little, have to remember to scrub the 19.. out and put 2009, you can tell how long I've had it
I like the choice, If I'm paying for anything and have to use post I'd rather put a cheque in than a form with my card details on

I got my first cheque book the other day, and i only got it because the places i booked for tys birthday and graces baptism both wanted cheque ( i didnt have cheques so someone else had to pay ) i'm givcing my brother a cheque for christmas because he needs to pay something by cheque but cant...... i think the last cheque i got was on my 21st !

It has 19 . . so you just fill the last two numbers in for the year, ie put 99 and its 1999, we're in the 20..'s now so it should be 20 . .

I run several small businesses and if it weren't for cheques it would be a lot more difficult to receive payments. Electronic systems for cards are not always cost-effective and it is far easier for many of my customers to write a cheque than give me (sometimes) large amounts of cash. It also makes it much easier for me to bank as most business banks make a charge for depositing cash.
