Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
Furby enjoys the wildlife programs, particularly those involving rabbits and weasels.

My Grandma and Grandad's dog (all three deceased now) used to love the theme tune to Magic Roundabout - used to howl all the way through it.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
Oh I love it when dogs sing along to a theme tune! As soon as that wildlife program ended Furby was off - not interested in anything that came afterwards. Funny isn't it?

Our cat will happily sleep through any TV program - he is not fussy.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
Remember when the cabinet it was in was 3 times the size of your TV screen? We had a cat that used to lie on top of the telly and, whenever there was football on, tried to catch the ball with his paw. Quite often, when the game got really exciting, he fell off.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
My dog loves adverts, especially those with cats on. My old cat loved tennis and could watch the ball going to and fro for hours. She would occasionally attack the telly when trying to catch the ball..

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
we have four cats (+ two dogs but they don't live together) the cats like to paw at the screen sometimes when there's something moving about i.e snooker balls.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
The dog we used to have (now deceased) used to bark at the buzzer on University Challenge because it sounded like our doorbell. He couldn't understand why we didn't answer the door.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
Our Barker(alas, now deceased) knew the music to Corrie and Eastenders and would howl to both of those tunes......he absolutely loved the pet sections of You've Been Framed....and we used to look for dog movies if we were going out and leaving him......he liked the old 'Lassie' films and used to sit up close to the screen......he also liked the sheepdog program that used to be on BBC 2......Oh, what was it called...? One Man and His Dog!
Aaaaah, we miss him still.

Re: Do your pets have a favourite TV program?
My Border Collie Kim used to watch One Man And His Dog when she was alive, I used to put it on especially for her, 6pm on Sunday evenings on BBC2 I think it was. She wasn't a farm bred dog or anything either, infact, she was bought from the pet shop in Blackpool.
