I think that while it is a different crime, the two things do share a link.......there is grooming of girls, and it isn't out in the open because of the people who are perpetrating this crime.. Muslims do not like to admit that it is going on in their community and the police do not want to fan racial tensions...they do not want it to look like they the police are picking on an ethnic group.

It is a very unsavoury situation, but it needs to be viewed in context too.
