Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
I think I am right in saying that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a pure breed, and a long way from the 'pit bulls' you are referring to, I have never encountered a nasty staffie!
Same with Rotties, I bought two, and let someone else have one of them, mine was as gentle as a lamb, the other turned out a bit nasty, because they were raised differently. Mine was a pet, the other was used as a status symbol! I will keep my ears open Emzy, let you know if I here anything!

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Same old story tar all staffies by the same brush
most make fabulous pets if in the right hands, but that goes for any breed of dog all dogs have a certain amount of instinct in them treat it rough as a puppy no socialising apart from training it to fight putting it on a treadmill three rimes a day and hey you turn out a mean fighting killing machine with a muppet as a owner.
still say if you breed a dog and sell a puppy to a idiot what chance has that puppy got in life,
Most reputable breeders wouldnt sell one of their pups to a idiot, but get a idiot owning one breed from it a couple of times and hey they sell onto their muppet friends woohoo we all own a hard dog
Hope the owners can be found and the dog is safley reunited

Check out the local burglars. Failing that, try the local drug dealers.

It's a medium size, very ugly dog. No Tattoos. Sh*ts twice a day.

now thats a tradgic story in its self
hope the owners found before its handed into the warden
the owner may well have rang teh dog catcher already so could be worth a shot ringing them to see if its been enquird about and save the owner the 5 star hotel rates fro putting it up for teh night
i wonder if the council left a gate open here as well and another 500 page row about whos fault it was teh dog got out develops lol

Might sound bad but dont want to give description, would rather someone gave me the correct description of their missing dog. It is a nice dog and wouldnt want anyone making a claim to it unless it really was theres. (If this makes sense)
But if you could ask around that would be great thanks

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
You can post a description and photo of the dog you found on Hyndburn Stray Dogs In Need
There is a new section where you can post about a dog that you have found, or one that is lost.
Hope that helps.

No need to argue mate, its always the owners fault, or whoever is looking after it and therefore responsible for it

That's a shame. I hope the dog warden catches it before its gets hit by a car or hurts someone.
