with all these idiots walking around with fighting dogs and irresponsible dog owners who thinks it is time we brought back the dog licence .i think we should..make people accountable for their actions with dogs.

Yes, seven and a tanner will be a great incentive to stop the dog owners letting their dogs crap all over the town.

Fighting dogs are as I have stated on numerous occasions, just an extention of their owners personality bullys.

Sorry for the slight thread wander but why are dog owners fined ( allegedly ) for not pooper scooping yet horses can **** all down the middle of the road and the owners don't have to do anything ?

Can't see what difference is would make cmonstan, was surely going on before .. think dog owners have become more resposible anyway what with the new dog 'excrement' laws, dogs on lead, etc. Sure it was going on before anyway.

Can't really remember why it was abolished in the first place; was it just economics .. cost of issuing ?

Because most of these horses are police ones

Should see the site after some Stanley games where the Police make the club to have their 'assistance' present, charge us for it, & then let their horses drop loads all over the gaff!

Fair question and they don't need a licence either, it may be something to do with the class system. Considering horse manure is full of Tetanus in it's raw state, it is more of a health hazard.
