Eeew .. isn't that some sort of sex game ?..
I merely asked why the hose pipe bothered you so deeply, seeing as you never used one. Besides ... no great hardship to anyone really .. not essential to our daily living ... might have reason to grumble if they hadn't imposed it and affected your monthly bath.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
Anyway, I love Autumn too and your pictures, Atarah; in fact all our seasons. Wouldn't live in a hot country with their dusty roads and very little colour and extra insect life.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
I do love autumn actually.
It signifies the end of very long days landscaping and the start of finishing work at 5pm. Standing by the fire with a pint of ale at the end of a chilly day, hot pans of soup on the stove, Christmas not far away....
It's a bit damp outside but it makes you appreciate being inside all the more.

DO KEEP UP!
I've already told you I do use one, My God, talk about a dumb Blonde, (even if by now you should have greyed gracefully).

You have neither witnessed nor assisted in my ablutions, so please do not speculate how or with what I manage a purer body than your Rather disparagingly evil and rather limited little mind.

It's a great time of year: sweet chestnuts and mushrooms to eat - cooler weather and cozy dark nights! I love it!
Can't see the photos by the way!

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
Autumn is a wonderful time if you want to see colour......You don't need to go to New England(but that didn't stop me wanting to).....but from a practical sense I hate the Autumn.......from September I can feel the gnaw of the shorter days.......I get carb cravings and want to do nothing much other than sleep, I get prickly and bad tempered........I am convinced that I was a bear in a previous existence.
The lack of daylight affects me.
Roll on March.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
I live at tree top height and have big trees back and front.
When the leaves fall I get a distance view again.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
I do enjoy the Autumn, here is the view out the kitchen window, plus a couple of other Autumn themed pics.

I agree entirely.
Well except for the gloomy moods.
I remain as sunny, jolly, and carefree, as I do throughout the other seasons of the year.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
By the way, don't ever move to Scotland.
I was forever being called by staff, saying they weren't coming in because of SAD.
Hello!
Winter days being three hours, seven minutes long, are the price you pay for having twenty hours of daylight in June.

Re: Dont you just love Autumn
Hate it...hate the dark, hate the cold, hate the damp, hate the masses of soggy leaves under your feet, hate everything about it.
Give me 90 degrees in the shade, a cold beer in my hand and a blue sparkling sea...all year round.
Nice pics though.

Good point re: the leaves underfoot.
They might be prettily coloured, but many of 'em cover a nice, squashy, freshly deposited, dog's egg.
