Absolutely cashy. It just grates that still the powers that be still will not budge as far as electoral reform is concerned.

Maybe they'll have to budge if Cameron offers Clegg the opportunity of a referendum on proportional representation as part of a coalition deal.

No, Wynonie! That would be the sensible thing to do! There seems to be a conensus afloat that it would be highly unlikely for Cameron to be able to get the support of his party on such an offer, even if they made it clear that they'd be arguing against Google Page Ranking from the off.

Ah well, Shakey, just confirms my view of 'em then. Cashy has a word for them, but I can't say it on here.

Re: Election - Place yer bets.
In this thread Steeljack asked about electronic voting (as they do in USA).
It is a fact that vote rigging is easier when electronic voting is used.
Today an example of what looks like a 'leak' happened when Google published results of the Maine election before the vote count ended. - see thumbnails below
One pic shows the result (with the page of the time overlaying it), and the other shows the rapidly following correction.
PS look at the second thumnail 1st

Ya still think you can't beat a cross on a ballot paper myself and even that can be fiddled with, but if we went electronic in this country, it would just like the states, no thank you

Maine is a caucus state which conducts straw polls at the various meeting locations around the state. There is no electronic voting.
I've seen the image you posted without the clock covering the numbers of votes. If those numbers were true, turnout would be more than double the 2008 Maine caucus. Not impossible but not likely.
It's more likely Google made a mistake or perhaps an engineer was testing. Either way it has nothing to do with electronic voting.

Re: Election - Place yer bets.
It will be interesting to see whether the actual end result will match the 'test' result .

Willing to bet it won't. The polls haven't even closed yet.

Re: Election - Place yer bets.
The problem is, this was on one of Margaret's trusted sites, I too goggled this and found out that Google regularly test, this is just that.
However there is always the other possibility, some one Photoshoped it, which to me is more likely.
So just like the North Korean non story, recently proposed the same member, non event. again.
I am glad I bought Amero's when I did
