You can. Just post an encouraging comment on his, (and his brother's web site). Every time I go online, I always check with them to see what's really going on in Baghdad and Iraq at large. They tell it all.....the good and the bad.

Don't be afraid, ask.
Am I anti the war in Iraq? Yes.
Do I think the Iraqis are better or worse off than before the war? Worse off.
Do I think that the country is on the verge of civil war? Yes.
Do I think it has been worth the blood shed of British and American members of the armed services? No.
Do I think there would have been a war to unseat Saddam, instead of other just as evil despots like Mugabe, if Iraq wasn't places so strategically to the world's biggest oil reserves? No.

He doesn't sound a happy little Iraqi bunny.

Didn't need to ask.....it was rather obvious. Mugabe is a nasty piece of work for sure....but he's only a threat to his own countrymen. It was the stated policy of the Clinton administration to have a regime change in Iraq.....and for very good reasons. Nothing came of it until after 9/11.
The more democratic governments we have around the world, the safer we all are. But it takes a lot of time and effort......and, alas, bloodshed to get there. I don't like it any more than you do.....but I do understand the goal.

...and besides being a threat to his own people, and the Kurds, how was Saddam a threat to the U.S.?
Where are the weapons of mass destruction?
Oh yes, the security services of the most powerful country on Earth got it wrong, there aren't any.

He was a threat to the region......had already invaded Kuwait. Used WMD's. Never gave up on his desire to go nuclear. Had links with terrorists groups.
Nobody knows for sure.....although there has been some interesting speculation about this. He certainly had them at one time and acted like he still did.
Correction.....the intelligence services of ALL major countries believed he had WMD's.....even the U.N. thought he did. After 9/11, would you take the risk? All relied too much on technology rather than good old boots on the ground intel. The thing that keeps our guys up at night is the thought that some terrorist group will get hold of nuclear materials. Frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't already happened.

After 9/11 there were lots of 'risk' countries.
A lot of funding for terrorism originates in Saudi, who incidentally have an appalling human rights record, but they weren't a target for the war against terror. Oh yes, we like them, they are our friends.
